The film became a huge success in the box office due to a marketing gimmick created by director William Castle called, “Emergo”. Castle created a pulley system that would allow a plastic skeleton to fly over the audience during suspenseful scenes in the film.

Is it possible to make a living from running a web site in a year with no prior experience working with web sites? Bryan Clark has no doubt about it as he has made this his goal with his site OneMansGoal.com.

Clark, a 25 year old self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur, started OneMansGoal.com on June 28, 2007, and in under 4 months, it is clear that he is very determined in reaching his goal.

Writing daily about different methods bloggers/webmasters can use to monetize and network their sites, Clark continually provides useful information on his site that I enjoy reading about frequently. When he’s not telling us of a new way to help improve our success, he lets us know of his own success with reaching his year goal, another reason I enjoy visiting his site.

It’s clear from his monthly updates, that Clark is well on his way to earning a sizable income from the methods he discusses on his site. His doggedness in pursing his goal has allowed him to reach milestones with his site in such little time that I can’t help but be amazed and commend Clark. During his last month he made $675 in revenue from his site, and over 30,000 pageviews which is very impressive for a site in its infancy. A lot of bloggers haven’t reached numbers like those after many months of continued blogging.

The main reason I think Clark’s goal is awesome, is that it isn’t a journey he’s taking alone, but one he is actively engaging his readers in. His goal isn’t solely his own, but one he shares with many webmasters online. In a way, he isn’t just working to achieve his own goal of financial success online, but the goal of many other people out there. He continually gives useful advice, and I recommend you check out OneMansGoal.com if you have an interest in becoming successful online.

Released in 1922, this silent film has become a staple in horror film and is a must see for any horror film lover. Because the film was an unauthorized adaptation of Dracula, the characters names were changed so “Count Dracula” became “Count Orlok”, and “vampire” became “Nosferatu”.

Two versions of Nosferatu are provided for you to watch. The first is the most popular version available online, with the names of the characters and dialogue changed to match Dracula. The second version maintains the original names of the characters, has a different musical score, and tinted scenes. Both are excellent to watch and can be downloaded with the links provided below.

Seibert was born in 1951 and has worked as a television and movie producer who has worked for such companies as MTV Networks, Hanna-Barbera, Nickelodeon, VH1, Cartoon Network, and has co-founded animation production company Frederator Studios.

As MTV’s first creative director in 1981, Seibert was responsible for creating the animated MTV logo shorts that have made MTV famous. Working with Nickelodeon in 1985, he helped create Nick-at-Nite, as well as dramatically boosting the ratings for the company.

In 2005, Seibert launched the first cartoon video podcast known as Channel Frederator.

I’m also a huge fan of Dan Meth’s animations, and he recently put together a compilation video on Channel Frederator called Methapalooza featuring his animations including “Internet People”. My favorite is “Shake That Ass”. I saw it almost a year ago, and it stll cracks me up. Here is his compilation video followed by the list:

In the ongoing quest for awesomeness on the net, I have found the Channel Frederator video created by animator Dan Meth called “Internet People!” dedicated to the internet people who make our lives online more enjoyable, by the weird, crazy, stupid, funny, and awesome shenanigan’s they do. I’m sure you’ll recognize some of these internet stars, and if you don’t recognize at least five of them the first time you see the vid, you just aren’t human, but some strange alien cyborg half-breed come to steal our earth women. I’m not going put up with no intergalactic kidnapping, so I’m going to have to terminate you (or at least severely maim you). Urban Ninjas like their urban woman. Fo sho…

But, I’ve taken it a step further! Yes, the post would be fine with just the video, but I’ve also provided you with the original videos/sites that the “Internet People” song makes a tribute too, so in case you are one of those creepy-slime-dripping- out-of-a-dozen-green-orifices-aliens, you can at least get caught up on your internet pop culture. In order to view the vids, just move your mouse over the link and the video will pop up in a Snapshot. When checking out the vids, you’ll notice that some have more than one video link. The first video link is to the video that made these people famous, and the second link is the latest video they’ve made so that you can see how these internet star’s videos have evolved since they started. It’s pretty amazing. Anyway, check it out:

If you have trouble viewing the video click here

Even the Brain knows I’m ninja! Hell yeah! It’s officially undeniable now! No longer can my my friends, family, beggars on the street, or anyone else tell me I’m not a ninja anymore. The Brain said I was, and the Brain is never wrong! Never! Need more exclamation points? Well here ya go!!!!!!!!!!

The game is pretty amazing, getting a lot of things right about my personality, my likes, dislikes, etc., and rarely getting one wrong. Either the people at Pairwise who made the game are very good at knowing personality traits, or I’m more transparent then lingerie on some semi-naked pop star. Bad jokes! ROXORS!

So, now that my secret’s out, I want you to play Likebetter and post a comment on what it gets right about you. Also check out likebetter.com, it has some other cool games you can play with your friends.

Here are a couple lists of what it guessed right and wrong about me, with my commentary in parenthesis:

The Brain guessed right about me:

You would like to travel.

When you’re alone in public, you usually don’t start up conversations with strangers. (Stranger danger!)

You misplace things.

You study/work better with music playing in the background.

Creativity is your area of expertise. (Yo damn right!)

You don’t smoke.

You are very interested in matters of technology. (I’m a geek, so this is a given)

You’re a night person. (It’s 3:00 a.m. as I’m writing this)

You live in a urban (city/town) environment. (Can’t be an urban ninja without the ‘hood)

You have or want pets.

You avoid taking unnecessary risks. (You know who’s risky? Dead people. Yeah I said it.)

You’re a glass is half full sort of person. (Positivity Positively Rules!)

You spend very little or no time in front of the TV. (Brainwashed by the TV? That’s so Generation X. No, I let the intarnets do that!)

Looks-wise, you are above-average. (Like I’m going to disagree with this…pffft.)

Your desk is a complete mess right now. (Yep, but at least I have the 28 different kinds of crap on it categorized)

If you had the choice between a cold place or a hot place, you’d choose the hot place.

You prefer instructions when they’re clear and concrete. (S-P-E-L-L it out for me)

You’re the kind of person who thinks things thru before taking action.

You are usually pretty honest about stuff. (Honestly)

You communicate best one-on-one. (It’s easier to lie that way!)

You’re not very religious. (Heathen is such a strong word)

You prefer to keep your options open. (Free love baby…chicka chicka bow wow…)

You enjoy meeting lots of new people. (If they kick ass)

If given the choice between speaking to a large crowd and having a tooth pulled, you’d choose the speaking engagement. (Let’s keep those cavity-ridden teeth intact!)

You generally don’t care what other people think about you. (Depends on how hot you are)

You enjoy sarcasm. (No shit Sherlock!)

You don’t keep to-do lists. (Pfft…why would I do that? Lists are so lame-O)

You’re a guy. (God I’m glad it got this right…..whew!)

You often employ logic in your decision-making. (Emotion is for those female types)

Your friends would describe you as a very emotional person. (Oh crap)

You’re a bit more feminine than your peers. (Hooray for confused gender roles!)

If you were asked to dance by someone very attractive, your answer would be: yes (You don’t even have to ask!)

You have a tendency to get annoyed or angered easily. (Do I punk? Do I?)

You have a few close friends.

If given the choice, you’d choose a long-term relationship. (Does this include stalking?)

The Brain guessed wrong about me:

If someone said you were an entrepreneur, you’d say: no I’m not. (I am, just not yet…*thumbs up*)

You’re hardly ever late to things. (When likebetter screws up, it does it big time)

You haven’t had dreams where you can fly. (Except the one where I plummeted to my death…must remain positive!)

I generally get what I want. (I don’t rule the world…yet)

Pretend you have just received a major award. You would: tell everyone to share in the excitement. (Yeah, I’m too selfish for that)

You like to be spontaneous whenever possible.

You love junk food. (I eat it cause it’s cheap. Do I love it? Ask my diseased heart in 30 years)

So what did Likebetter say about you?
