Nosferatu is the first film adaptation based off of Bram Stoker’s famous novel, Dracula. Released in 1922, this silent film has become a staple in horror film and is a must see for any horror film lover. Because the film was an unauthorized adaptation of Dracula, the characters names were changed so “Count Dracula” became “Count Orlok”, and “vampire” became “Nosferatu”.

Two versions of Nosferatu are provided for you to watch. The first is the most popular version available online, with the names of the characters and dialogue changed to match Dracula. The second version maintains the original names of the characters, has a different musical score, and tinted scenes. Both are excellent to watch and can be downloaded with the links provided below.
